The grounds of the Vila Marachique are very extensive, with many beautiful plants and palm trees. The main pool is very large and has a snack bar close by, there is also a kiddies pool. There is also a residential restaurant on site.

Alvor beach, one of the longest, sandiest and most attractive beaches in Europe, 2 minutes drive or 15 minute walk.
Praia do Vau is 15 minutes walk. Praia da Rocha is 20 minutes walk.
